Discussions and guidelines related to the work of school students engaged in art, design and craft education courses, with a special emphasis on exhibitions and displays, particularly in museums and galleries.
Dr. Marisa Young's working life began with undergraduate training in the field of art education. This was followed by postgraduate studies in education, information management and history. She has worked in schools, the tertiary education sector, libraries and archives, as well as art galleries and museums. Her research interests include cultural consumption during the nineteenth century.
Students can record their responses to galleries, museums and exhibits by writing notes, producing sketches or, if permitted, taking photographs or recording sound or moving images.
